I’ll cut right to the chase … if you’re a leader of any kind, you need to start reading The Riverstone Group’s blog. It is my favorite leadership blog, and has been for the past year.
The Riverstone Group is a Nashville-based consulting agency led by John Kramp and David Atchison. When I first ventured into consulting work, I was looking for consultants further down the road that I could learn from. By chance, I got to speak to Michael Hyatt on a live call. He recommended I check John out (they are long-time friends) and my life and leadership have not been the same since.
I love John and David’s blog because it is rooted in actual leadership, business, and ministry experience. Moreover, they have been long-time friends, and their story of combining friendship and business (and actually doing it well) is a model we can all benefit from.

Their blog is one of the best-kept secrets on leadership content … but I hope to help change that. I’ve been privileged to connect with John and David online, and even got to interview them for my podcast. They are sharp, engaging, wise, and hilarious!

Subscribe to their podcast called “Your Leadership Story.”
The Riverstone Group also produces a podcast for leaders called Your Leadership Story, and it has quickly become one of my favorites. In an unexpected turn of events, I had the honor of being interviewed on their show about leadership and marketing. I think I laughed so much during the course of the interview that they had to edit it out … I had such a great time. Subscribe to their podcast in iTunes here.

Get their free resource, Compelling.
There are tons of free resources out there. This one is unique and useful … I’ve personally used it to refine my elevator pitch and my leadership / career narrative. You can get “Compelling” free by submitting your email address on their blog. It’s like having your own branding coach walk you through this process. Totally worth it.
