One of the most frustrating things that usually happen with you are starting as an “online entrepreneur” and looking to get some recognition to keep building your personal brand is feeling ignored.

John already had seen my name around social media, we weren’t strangers to each other but nevertheless, you can see how it works.
I didn’t even have to reach out to him because when I linked to his website, he received an automatic notification from his WordPress blog (this is called a pingback). You can see that he even took the time to comment on the article, he later became a guest on the podcast.
Now, not everyone pays attention to their pingback notifications, and the idea of the strategy is that you actually reach out and let the know about it.
