JJ, excited at the opportunity to lend my expertise to your people. Happy to give insight into copywriting –– headlines, conversions, storytelling, and so forth. A few thoughts that go beyond that:
- It’s a weird time with AI. I believe it will impact marketing and particularly copywriting. Informational content won’t set people apart as much as it used to –– inspirational content will. Therefore, your people will need to infuse even more of their own personality into their marketing.
- Human touch and connection will continue to be paramount. As long as we sell to humans (and not robots, haha) practitioners will need to understand this. Stories of transformation need to be “copywritten” into their marketing.
- We must all double-down on: 1. Stories, 2. Voice and Tone in our writing, and 3. How we ask for the sale. All things being equal, these are the things that will set people apart from one another in their copy.
I gave this 30-minute talk titled, CopyProof: How to Write, Market, and Persuade in a Voice That is Unmistakably You at Todd Herman’s conference just before the COVID shutdowns… I’ve done it at other events like Social Media Marketing World and John Maxwell’s International Maxwell Certification event, too.
It’s been well-received and might be a good place where I flesh out some of thoughts above. I can tailor the content to your people and where I think things are going.
