As some of you may know, we are hosting the Outloud Conference May 6-7 at my church near Hartford, Connecticut. Would you please keep this weekend in prayer? Preparations are underway to make this a terrific event, but we are looking to do more than just pull off an event: we are seeking regional impact for Christ through churches that make God’s presence a priority. Worship ministry is just a part of the equation, but it’s a potent part. You can find out more about the event at www.outloudconference.com.
Thanks so much for standing with us, and check back here for more as we head into the last two weeks before the conference. If you don’t know what to pray, here’s mine taken straight out of my journal:
“Lord, I pray for the Outloud Conference. I pray churches would be impacted positively for the long-term. I pray what is shared from the teachings and workshops will be applicable, transferable and sustainable in other local churches. I pray that pastors, leaders, worshipers, and volunteers would be refreshed in their spirit, renewed in vigor, and be revelatory in vision and purpose. I pray that the Northeast U.S. would not only be salted with churches that host your presence, but would be rife with them. Multiply the workers and anoint them. Let it be a good time had by all, that the joy of the Lord would be their strength. May divisions between people, teams, and churches be gone, and let forgiveness, unity, and encouragement fill the atmosphere. I pray for the churches because it’s through local churches that communities are most impacted for the body of Christ. Let the church unite and let the enemy be scattered!”
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
