Registrations have been pouring in the past few weeks as we’re approaching the deadline for the early rate. If you haven’t signed up, hurry over to www.outloudconference.com. The early bird ends April 15th!
Join me, Jared Anderson, and Mike Smith Friday May 6th at 7:00 p.m. for a Night of Worship…it’s free and open to the public. For Saturday’s sessions the cost is just $25 for individuals and $20 per person for married couples or groups of 5 or more. Numbers of groups have signed up and we’re expecting a good-sized crowd for the Saturday sessions. Many people have asked about the workshops, so here’s the info straight out of our conference brochure:
WORSHIPERS IN THE LOCAL CHURCH | CHRISTOPHER HOPPER
Don’t play an instrument or sing on the worship team? No worries…this workshop is for you. You are more than a spectator or a warm body filling a seat! Christopher will share on the importance of the individual worshiper in building a culture of deep worship in the local church.
BUILDING A HEALTHY WORSHIP MINISTRY | MIKE KIM
Geared towards pastors, worship pastors, and worship team leaders, Mike will cover principles relating to team values, criteria, and culture as well as the 3 Beachheads of Trust that must be established in order to have sustainable health and success in local church worship ministry.
WORSHIP SONGWRITING | JARED ANDERSON
Having written modern worship favorites such as Rescue, Amazed, and Hear Us From Heaven, Jared will discuss the process and heart behind writing songs for use in worship.
THE PLACE OF LEVEL GROUND AS A LEADER | JOEL KLAMPERT
This workshop will touch on a tough topic: the pedestals church leaders are often placed on. Joel will address the most important lesson every leader must learn as well as some of the issues that arise between attractive vs. relational leaders.
ELECTRIC GUITAR IN WORSHIP | JARED ANDERSON BAND
Having been featured on a number of Integrity Music recordings as well as playing with Jared on tour, Jared’s team will discuss and demonstrate techniques that enhance worship on the electric guitar.
BACKLINE IN WORSHIP: BASS & DRUMS | JARED ANDERSON BAND
It’s been said that if the bass and drums lock in a good groove, any band will sound good. Drummers and bassists will get some hands-on demonstrations on how they can play tight as a unit and enhance worship.
