Episode 300 is a solo show about why you should consider rebranding, why you shouldn’t, and some personal reflections on the Brand You podcast — and all that I’ve experienced and learned since starting the show in 2014. Believe it or not, the podcast was named Up and to the Right for about 6 months before I did my first podcast rebrand.
There are two reasons to rebrand:
1. If people don’t understand who you are and what you do
2. If you’re attracting the wrong customer
Up and to the Right was not attracting my ideal audience. But when I changed the name to Brand You, the podcast took off. It was clear what the purpose of the podcast was and who should listen.
In this episode we go over how to tell if your product, service, or podcast needs a facelift, an overhaul, or a funeral. We also go over what to do if you are multi-passionate and how to stack all your passions so that you can pull from each one.
The Brand You podcast will be taking a month off and returning in October as You are the Brand. Thank you for your support over the past 300 episodes and I look forward to the next 300!
