Last week I had the privilege of speaking at Elim Gospel Church (EGC) in Lima, NY about 20 miles south of Rochester. Pastored by one of my dear friends Josh Finley, EGC is a true marvel of a church.
Situated in a small town with a population of just over 2,000 people, EGC is making some noise with a congregation approaching 1,000 members and a satellite campus in the nearby suburb of Henrietta.
Honestly, I was a bit rusty with preaching (it’s been 4 months since I last delivered a sermon!) and I am still my own worst critic, but hopefully you’ll find some value in this message. I share two things that are vital to believing for greater things …
- Stop asking for permission.
- Start taking responsibility.
The bottom line is that action cures fear. One of the greatest gifts God has given you is your potential. One of the greatest gifts you can give to the world is to fulfill your potential.
Regular readers: I’ll be back next week to my normal blogging and podcasting schedule. It’s been busy on the Mike Kim front here between launching a new online course, traveling to Rochester, and being in the midst of the busiest season at work. See you back here soon.
