My marketing specialty is launching and selling an information product, coaching program, or live event. From my experience, this program will suit you if you meet any 3 of the following criteria:
- This is your first launch,
- You’ve done 3 (or less) “real” launches,
- Your email list is in the 100 – 1,500 range in size,
- Your revenue goal on the launch is at least $25,000,
- You plan to do future launches, with more revenue,
- You’re not sure whether to spend money on Facebook ads (I’ll guide you on whether that’s a good option or not, but it usually isn’t at this stage),
- You’re not really sure what your “angle” on the copy and launch should be,
- You’re not set on what tools to use as the engine of the launch (I’ll look at what you’re using and show you what’s possible)
- You’d like to have a seasoned and trusted launch consultant and direct-response copywriter guide your launch (me)

Pre-Work: Launch Lab Roadmap
#1. My “Launch Lab Roadmap”
I will send you an extensive questionnaire regarding your launch and your product. This is the same document I’ve used to work with some of today’s highest-paid thought leaders on their launches.
This questionnaire will ask you to frame out basic questions such as the OFFER (how much you will charge, what kind of payment plans if any, and what bonuses you will give), your LIST SIZE, and a recap of any PAST LAUNCHES.
It will also include a LAUNCH CALENDAR, which will help you and I visually understand when the various pieces of your promotion are published, when your fast-action bonuses expire, and how you will roll out other incentives (if any) to drive conversions and spike sales.
The calendar is EVERYTHING in a launch. If you’re seasoned at launching products, you already know this. If you’ve new to this, it’s vital you plan this with a trusted guide. I will be with you every step of the way.
Your offer, of course, is subject to change. At some point, I may recommend you charge less –– or more. Either way, the Launch Lab Roadmap will allow you and I will make significantly more progress during our in-person time together.
Let’s not pretend (as so many others are apt to do) that we will simply conjure up a launch out of thin air in two days and think that will work. Preparation is everything in a launch.
#2. 45-Minute 1:1 Strategy Call with Me
I’m not going to let you plan all this in a vacuum and meet me a few states away without ever having spoken to me (let alone strategize) beforehand. I hate coaches who do that kind of nonsense. It’s a disservice because it never allows you to get the attention you and your project deserve.
You and I will flesh out your BIG IDEA on a call together. This is the “angle” (did you know there are actually 14 different angles that professional marketers employ in their messaging?) –– and we’re going to brainstorm the right angle and weave it in with your brand identity to make your product, program, or event stand out.
I can’t stress how important having an “angle” or a BIG IDEA is to the success of your launch. No video-based course, no matter how robust, can brainstorm with you. Videos can inform and even inspire you –– but real creativity and collaboration only happen in proximity.
You need a thinking partner. I’ve worked with several of today’s top thought leadership businesses, and I’m confident I’ll be able to guide you through this important phase in your business.
Please note that I do not take this call lightly, and I hope you won’t either. The normal fee for a 1:1 call with me is $1297, and yes –– many people have paid that fee. Let’s get to work.
#3. Sales Page Fillers
The most difficult piece to create in a launch is the sales page, but it’s almost one of the most important. The sales page is where all roads lead to, and where money transacts. I’m going to send you another document you can brain dump into regarding some of the lesser aspects of the sales page such as the FAQ section and the money-back guarantee (if you have one).
There’s no reason to spend precious in-person time working through that. Our in-person time will be better spent working on the creative angles of your launch copy and pre-launch content.
Your FAQs and guarantees are subject to change depending on your decisions, but again, we should have a good idea of what you’re looking to do before we meet in-person.
Day 1: Sales Page
This is where the rubber meets the road. We will write the copy for the top 5 sections of your sales page:
- The Hero Section
- The Agitate Section
- The Guide Section
- The Product Section
- The Benefit Section
Nail the copy for these five sections, and your sales page will be in terrific shape. Then we’ll fill in the FAQs and Guarantee sections from your pre-work.
BONUS: If you use (or plan to use) Kajabi for your sales page or courses, I will GIFT you my custom-built sales page templates, so that you can plug-in your copy and photos. This bonus alone will save you 20+ hours fiddling with layouts and font sizes, and save you thousands of dollars in hiring a designer.
Day 2: Launch Strategy
Now that you have most of your sales page dialed in, it’s time to flesh out your launch calendar and strategy. Contrary to popular belief, there are several ways to launch a product or program — even if you have a small list. My first launch was with a list of 24 people, and I had 12 buyers for a 45-day coaching program. A few examples:
Live Bootcamp Launch: A launch streamed “live” over the course of 10-14 days with 3-5 live webinars during that time span. Advantages: less creative work on pre-launch content (you don’t have to pre-record it), more perceived value because of the live interaction, and more real-time proof of concept. Disadvantage: it can be a challenge to maintain energy throughout the course of the launch (both for yourself and for others around you).
Single Webinar Launch: If your offer is a mid to lower-tier offer, this may be the option for you. Going direct to your market through a webinar or even straight email offer is the fastest path to the cash –– but the smart business owner will take all the creative assets from a Single Webinar Launch and repurpose it into a larger scale one for a higher-end product.
Standard Product Launch: Coined and popularized by Jeff Walker, this primarily involves video content that is dripped out to your list over a period of 7-10 days with a cart open and cart close. Advantages: no live element –– but you have to have all your creative ducks in a row before you start, and this can be overwhelming.
There are other launch strategies as well, such as the #-Day Challenge Launch, Online Summit Launch, and Free Book + Shipping Launch, but it really depends on the nature of your business, maturity of your list, and your expertise around these types of promotions.
Between the Pre-Work you did with my Launch Lab Roadmap, our 1:1 strategy call, and our two days together, you’ll have a crystal clear plan on how to move forward –– with a significant amount of your copy already written.
