I’m officially in post-production with our next live worship album, called A Greater Glimpse. This album was recorded live during the course of several regional nights of worship where believers from across New England and the Northeast U.S. gathered to worship back in July. The songs and worship captured reflect both where we have been and where the Lord is leading us and I’m excited about how this project will help our church and the other churches in our region in the area of worship (and whoever else gets their hands on it).
A few weeks back, my electric guitarist Quinton and I flew out to Boise, ID (of all places) to start on post-production. We are working with Scott Pergande and Dave Goetter of the Mix House who also did our last project. This was my second time to Boise and we all wished we could spend more time hanging out rather than always just working, but we found a few pockets of time to relax and kick back. The project goes into mixing next week (which is always nerve-racking for me…it’s like packing for a long trip and feeling like you’re forgetting something). Scott and Dave are great on this stuff, I just consistently freak out that I might have missed something to change or whatever. Real excited for the release…we’re all working hard to get this out before Christmas. I do 4 songs on the album, Kent Henry does 3 (and he did Cory Asbury’s Where I Belong…so cool to hear Kent sing that song), we split one track (because it was a prophetic worship thing) and Sarah Warner and Eric Peoples do the rest. Shout out to my friend Christopher Hopper and his guitarist Nate Cronk who contributed a song that we’ve really adopted called Jesus You Are. You can get their original version here…it just released!
Stay tuned…we’ll have an official official release date soon! Enjoy pictures!
